Paula Creamer didn't have the best round of the day yesterday, but she still managed to hold on and win at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. Creamer shot a 2-over 73 to finish the tournament 16-under. Creamer had three bogeys and one birdie for the day.
Creamer won by two shots against Nicole Castrale. Castrale had the best round of the day when she shot a 7-under 64. After bogeying the first hole, Castrale made eight birdies and finished the back nine with a 31.
Eun-Hee Ji finished in third place. Ji shot a 1-over 72 for the fourth round and finished the tournament with a 13-under. Shanshan Fung finished in fourth place when she shot a 2-under.
Fresh off a 9-under round on Saturday, Karrie Webb rounded out the top five for the Classic when she shot a 1-under 70.
Among the notable finishes at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, Brittany Lincicome finished tied for seventh with a 9-under for the tournament, Angela Stanford finished in ninth, at 8-under for the tournament. Grace Park finished tied for 26th. Michelle Wie finished tied for 46th.
On Thursday, the Tour hits Springfield, Ill. for the LPGA State Farm Classic.
