LPGA Update: US Open Day 1
Day one has come and gone at the US Women's Open at the Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn. Ji Young Oh and Pat Hurst are tied at the top of the leaderboard after both shot a -6, 67 for the round. Oh shot a -4 on the back nine to help her get to the top. Both players are one shot ahead of Song-Hee Kim, who shot a -5, 68.
Paula Cramer is among four players tied in eighth place, after firing a -3, 70 for the round today. Cramer is tied with the likes of Laura Davies, Helen Alfredsson and Catriona Matthew.
Lorena Ochoa shot even par for the round today. Annika Sorenstam shot +2 for the round today. Michelle Wie had one of the worst rounds of the day, when she shot a +8, 81 for the first round. She is tied in 146th place.
