WNBA Report: Big night for Leslie

Yes, we do cover the WNBA. I cover it because the NBA is over and the WNBA is still in action. So it makes sense that I cover some notable games from the previous night.

Los Angeles Sparks 80, Chicago Sky 67
- Lisa Leslie had a big night for the Sparks, putting up 21 points on 10-of-15 shooting. Leslie also put up seven rebounds for the effort. Sparks rookie Candace Parker scored 14 points with six rebounds. Jia Perkins scored 18 points for the Sky in a losing effort.

Indiana Fever 83, New York Liberty 69- The Fever are in good shape thus far. Katie Douglas scored 16 points and eight rebounds for the Fever. Janel McCarville scored 23 for the Liberty.

Phoenix Mercury 102, Connecticut Sun 81- Diana Taurasi came up huge for the Mercury, scoring 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting. Taurasi was three-of-six from beyond the three point line. Cappie Pondexter had a great night for the Mercury as well, scoring 22 points and picking up nine rebounds.

Washington Mystics 67, Houston Comets 63- Alana Beard put up 23 points for the Mystics in the win.

That's all I have for now. See you later
